Data are from a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan of a
human head. Transparency is used to delineate the exterior (skin)
of the head. Cutouts are included to reveal interior structures
on a variety of orthogonal surfaces.
Data were collected on the Siemens Magnetom and provided
courtesy of Siemens Medical Systems, Inc., Iselin, NJ., and the
SoftLab Software Systems Laboratory, University of North
Carolina, Department of Computer Science.
